Reuters DSS Available
FXLoader are now able to offer Reuters DSS (DataScope Select) integration.
Reuters DSS allows web service access to the familiar Reuters financial data. FXLoader has incorporated this as a choice for the source of your FX rates.
The service only works over https, so requires configuration of Oracle Wallet to store the certificates needed. Our installation instructions provide full information on how to do this.
Reuters DSS is simply an additional choice in the Source field when you run the FXLoader software, added to our existing sources of OANDA, Xignite and the European Central Bank. All the features of FXLoader are available with each source, such as Triangulation to create cross rates.
We are not able to resell the Reuters service at this time, so you will need to purchase this direct from Reuters. You then set the username and password for the service against one of the FXLoader value sets in Oracle E-Business Suite. If you don’t already have a relationship with Reuters, please get in touch and we will get someone from the correct team to contact you. We are working on a more formal relationship with Reuters that will allow us to resell the Reuters DSS service.
This integration was built at the request of one of our customers, at no additional charge. So if your preferred source of exchange rates is not currently offered by FXLoader, please contact us and we will probably be able to add it within a few weeks.
